Do I need an app?

No. PullShot is a fast mobile-first web app — add it to your home screen and it feels native. Nothing to install, works on any phone.

What do I actually log?

Dose (g), yield (g), shot time (s), grind setting, optional water temperature, a 1–5 rating, taste tags and notes. Ratio is computed for you. Logging takes about ten seconds.

Why not just use my notes app?

Notes don't pin your best shot per bean, compute ratios, chart trends, or hand you last shot's settings as a starting point. That structure is exactly what makes dialing in faster.
